Crawford Electric, Inc. is proud to be a full-service
electrical contractor. Not only is Crawford Electric the largest
electrical contractor in the area, we are also the most responsive
to electrical needs. Our staff is experienced, dedicated and
committed to servicing our customers. We maintain a staff of
30 to 50 electricians to ensure we complete our customers’ projects
in a timely manner.
We do offer design and build services for those customers who
have specialized needs. We also have staff members that can offer
value engineering advice to the customers who may have budget limitations.
Crawford Electric works with industrial, commercial, and residential
customers. We have completed many large commercial projects over
the years in various industries including: banks, hospitals, manufacturing
facilities, box stores (i.e. Wal-Mart, Walgreens), medical clinics,
office complexes, and schools. Our project managers are onsite
daily to keep the projects on time and on budget.
The company is active in the development of their apprentices.
Crawford Electric sponsors the Mountain Home Electrical Apprenticeship
School. Our apprentices attend school for a four-year program,
while earning on-the-job credit during those four years.
Crawford Electric is a drug free workplace.
Our management is very mindful of safety procedures and trains
its crew regularly on safety procedures.
Bob Crawford, President
Bob was born and raised in Clarkridge, Arkansas. With a love for
mechanics and technology, he began working as an apprentice for
Barnes Electric in Mountain Home in 1959. Bob decided in 1965
to begin his own business venture - it was then that Crawford Electric
was founded. Under Bob's leadership, the company has grown to what
it is today. Although Bob is retired, he still remains active in
some of the company's activities.
Rodney Covington, Vice President & General
Rodney was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. He received a Bachelors
of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University
of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Rodney previously worked for United Parcel
Service. While working for UPS, Rodney worked in the Springdale,
Conway, Hot Springs, and Little Rock markets, primarily in the
roles of Manager and Engineer. In 1996, Rodney moved to Mountain
Home to work for Crawford Electric and now serves as the Vice
President & General Manager.
Rodney is also a member of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce,
Home Builders Association, and Chairman of the Board of the Mountain
Home Electrical Apprenticeship School.
Harold Dewey, Estimator & Service Manager
Harold began working for Crawford Electric, Inc. in 1973, and holds a master
electrician’s license. He has been the company's industrial and commercial
estimator for the past 15 years. Harold plays a key role in assisting in
design-build applications, as well as industrial controls design.
Tim Beck, Project Manager
Tim, who holds a master electrician’s license, has worked
with Crawford Electric, Inc. since 1978, He was promoted to Project
Manager in 2003. Tim has become an expert in the electrical construction
of large banks, schools, restaurants and retail facilities. His
field experience has made him a valuable member of Crawford’s
Richard Hazel, Project Manager
Richard began working for Crawford Electric, Inc. in 2001. He was promoted
to Project Manager in 2003. Richard holds a master of electrician’s
license and has over 20 years of industrial, commercial, and residential
electrical experience. Richard has become an electrical expert in hospital,
manufacturing and industrial construction.
